Epemera (In-Between) focuses on film photography and the physical interactions that alter the camera’s perception of light. These are moments that lasted long enough to be photographed; moments concerned with constructs, translations and connecting the dots of memory. The work calls attention to those in-between spaces, somewhere between the viewer and the wall. These spaces create their own narratives and dialogues: embodiments of the past, the fading present and possible futures. Unframed, the delicate prints become objects, vulnerable to the very force that created them: light, space and time.
